Hi!

I’m Alexandra, a Sydney based surface pattern designer and artist. Using hand drawn, painted and printed artwork, I create unique designs and surface patterns in Photoshop.

I am drawn to traditional craftsmanship, the antique, the vintage, and inspired by the naural landscape and beautiful gardens. I also love to express layers of meaning and use symbolic elements. I am conscious of seeking ways to work sustainably and with positive impact for the environment, and would love to work with brands who feel the same way.

When I started my surface pattern journey, I studied drawing and painting for many years, then discovered printmaking and fell in love with its subtlety of texture and depth. I have used etchings in both my fine artwork and designs. I now concentrate on hand drawn and painted-gouache or watercolour- artwork.
